Together with Prof. Dr. David M. Leistner, Director of the Clinic for Cardiology and Angiology at Frankfurt University Hospital and Scientific Director of the ILUMIEN-V - AERO STUDY, IHF GmbH has developed a study concept that has now been positively evaluated by the ethics committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ILUMIEN-V - AERO is an IIT (investigator initiated trial) financially supported by Abbott Vascular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ILUMIEN-V - AERO is a prospective, non-interventional, international, multicenter observational study in which 2,000 patients are to be included at 25 trial centers, including in Germany. The inclusion of further study countries is in preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study will provide results to evaluate the current practice of OCT use in routine care and assess the impact of the MLD-MAX algorithm on real world PCI.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wichtiger Meilenstein im All-comEr Register OCT (AERO).
